I noticed the same on CO47 back from FRA on Tuesday. Seemed like the whole thing (i.e. pilot visiting the head) was much more coordinated and involved multiple FAs standing positions. I am usually on a 777 from London, and not a 764, and I was in 1B instead of my usual row 2, so it may have the different configuration or the location of the bathroom on the 764 made it more obvious. Of course, it also could have been the two very obvious FAMs on board. Perhaps they report back somewhere about procedures they see?
