You didn't authorize the charge any way shape or form.. so that would mean that they are in the wrong to take the deposit. Normally in this situation, I would ask for free upgrades, or a free night, because this is a serious breach of trust and policy. en garde, to whomever wants to use credit cards fraudulently.. I would take my credit card off profile as a result as well.
