Wonder if AS would fly a 738 BLI-HNL...
There's an interesting thought I hadn't considered, but I doubt it. To fly it, a 73H would need to be at or damn near MTOW, and 6700' at BLI isn't going to cut it. Something I hadn't really considered at first either, are the two North American diagonals, which an MD80 can't do. BLI-FLL and PBG-LAS both seem reasonable possibilities.

Actually I wonder how AS is doing with their BLI-LAS traffic, it's sure woken up a sleepy little NW airport when you've got 3x MD80s and a 73G sitting there, and 5 years ago all there was, were Q200s.

Back to the original topic, I wonder who G4 bought them from "European Carrier, who have owned them since new". Only one I can think of, off the top of my head that would make sense is BA.
