Is everyone forgetting the fact that all those Midway gates at RDU were once AA? Crandall and the boys tried this and it did not work. Typical decision to jump in just like BNA and then pull back after only a few years.

Especially with the assimilation of TWA and St. Louis as a new hub, this is not going to happen.

What will happen is that we will see Southwest make great strides in RDU. They already have a good presence and apparently the RDU folks are prepared to build a few more gates. Look for Herb's warbirds to be full of folks from the NE heading down to Florida through RDU!
