This would be a brilliant strategic move for AA. It would compete directly with DL's ATL hub, UA's IAD hub, and the myraid US hubs. It would also facilitate NYC/BOS/WAS service
to ATL and the Carolinas. Maybe the re-introduction of RJ service to RDU is the first step. One can only hope.
