I have booked a Holiday Inn Express for 15000 points a night, I was quite surprised I could book it on points as it is a very big event nearby.

Just checked my Visa statement and they have also taken £179 from my account, no warning, or anything in the t&c's about this may happen, it really gets on my nerves when this type of thing happens as they don't even have the decency to let you know.

I called PC who advised me to call the hotel direct.

I called the hotel direct who have asked me to call back Monday as nobody from accounts will be in today.

Has anyone else had this happen to them and what was the outcome?
