I (and the other spellman's) are going to OZ at the same time of the year. I booked two saver C's for the little ones, I will be on a paid ticket Y that I will upgrade and I will either buy my wife a ticket in Y with upgrade, a Z fare, or miles for C depending on what is available later in the year.

Based on Unavaca's logic, $1,600 (but divided by 4), would you spend $400 for C over Y? I sure as heck would. LAX to SYD is a 14 hour flight.
Thanks that's a good point. Lemme check into it. My only other issue is a lot of my SWU's expire too early but if I have 2 saver c's and the rest SWU upgraded Y I could be OK. Or some kind soul might swap me for later expiring SWU's... For a trade discount of some sort.
