I have 8 SWU's in my account. I am torned between trading them away as I don't do much international flying or using them for return flight to Australia at the end of the year.

Right now I have Y class booked on points for me + the 3 other oblongs in the family. I could instead take the 320K miles back, by 3 Y seats for ~ $8K and use the SWU's.

The issues I see are:

1. I am the only 1 K so others may not get upgraded and then we'd be split up
2. Is business really worth 8K?
3. Could I get better value trading SWU's away and sticking with what I have?

Any feedback would be welcome.
