hey guys... both the Marriott Bloor Yorkville and the Courtyard are great starts. particularly with the Courtyard, you're well positioned to enjoy the village if you choose to do so, without being stuck in the ghetto, so to speak. Convenient to the subway and other TTC transport, you can get anywhere from where you'll be. The question is, where do you want to go?

I lived two blocks away and know the area well. I am happy to advise on restaurants, etc.

What I'm not clear on (mostly because I'm not sure you are) is what you're hoping to get out of this trip. What do you usually do when you travel? Do you travel together or mostly separately?

If you're looking for specific (non-tourist) advice, it would help to know a little more.
