This may be an old thread, but I have to ask others if things have changed for them. My daughter (an AA plat) flies many trips from SFO to JFK, usually in business or first. The other day, I dropped her at the skycap, who tried to put orange "Premium" tags on her bags. She asked him not to, telling him this would insure they would come off last! Many others have told me these "Premium" tags are the "kiss of death". My big question--Why? Who in the system is behind this irony? It would be nice to know.
