For internal SA flights, BA 747's will be operating during the day, but only for World Cup traffic (I'm not sure how they're going to control this). Domestic capacity is a real problem in SA. As far as hotel rooms go, FIFA has taken the lions share of hotel rooms in the country during the world cup period for tour operators, which has created this artificial shortage, and ridiculous prices. I agree with Lobengula, and I hope people start acting reasonable, quickly, otherwise the stadiums are going to be empty come game time.
