What FFP are you using? If its not Krisflyer, then you can't do a Business Class award through SFO to HKG/ICN on the new 77W seats. You will only be restricted to the the 747-400 routes which SQ still use for LAX-NRT, and then from NRT to HKG on NH. Or from JFK to SIN also on the 747-400, then SIN to NRT on either UA , NH or SQ.

You might also try TG via LAX and nonstop to BKK then to HKG.

Having said that, I realised that you're not using Krisflyer and using US's FFP so will move this to the appropriate forum where your questions will be better answered.
