I just called Chase and was told that I was $48 short on getting the second 50k miles, due to the annual fee not being counted as part of the spending. It's after the 3rd statement, so I can't correct that by buying something else. I recall the fine print saying that the fee counted, but can't find the original flyer to check.

Does anyone have the original flyer so that I can check? And is there any way I can appeal this decision and possibly get a reconsideration?
