"Blocked" versus "Occupied" seats on expertflyer
I've recently started sitting downstairs for night flights as I find the temperature to be generally more comfortable for sleeping than the UD.
Anyway, I've got an upcoming flight where I'm in 14A. Row 14 is the same row as the cot position (14E). Sitting on the UD, it isn't likely you're going to get a baby up there (I've found, generally), but the same is not true for the LD.
Looking at the MMB seatmap on BA.com, it is impossible to tell whether the cot position is occupied, or just blocked.
On expertflyer.com, however, it shows the seat as "blocked." My question (finally): Would expertflyer.com show the seat as "occupied" if it was assigned, or would it continue to show it as "blocked" even if it was assigned?
