Pre 9/11 on a flight from Cape Town to LHR the pilot invited my Dad (F) and I to sit in the cockpit for landing. I believe it was a 777 on SA airlines. I remember sitting on the tarmac waiting for our gate to open up we watched the Concorde make a particular messy landing as the pilots gave running commentary...very funny.
