I still am now, but for a different reason. I have no problem with the vacuum flush ones. I am scared of those with the blue chemicals. I fear that at the moment I flush, the airplane will hit turbulence and the contents will splash out of the bowl onto me.
I know the solution is to just close the lav lid, but who does that?
I am in my 50's. That toilet sounds dangerous, I do not care how you try to convince me otherwise. It's like the contents of the room are all tied down just to keep them from being sucked out of the lav when flushing. And it lasts for seconds longer than necessary IMO. I do not like it and you can't make me like it. I do not like the air-powered low flush babies at the hotels either, the ones that pull the paper off the rolls if hanging too close.
