My wife and I are going to Rome in mid-April and are taking our 10-year old daughter along with us. My wife wants to stay in a North American-style hotel, so I'm looking for recommendations. I realize this is not the best way to experience Rome and we're unlikely to be in a central location, but this is what I'm looking for. So we need a queen/double with a bed for our daughter or two doubles, I guess, which may be hard to find.

Any tips/advice on which hotels to consider and which ones to avoid? Thanks in advance.
