Thank you for the info. It would seem to me that I would be better off using a different affinity card during 2010 since it appears that whatever I spend this year will have no effect on my VIP status and I already have plenty of HHonors points. At least from what I was told my an Hhonors representative today, qualifying this year will have no effect.
