In January of this year, HHonors ran a promotion which awarded SM members who "double dipped" in the HHonors program 2010 SM bonus miles for each qualifying stay (three-night minimum, I believe) at a Hilton Family hotel. I qualified for this bonus twice, saw both sets of 2010 bonus miles reflected on my HHonors statement (which even showed them as as having been transferred DL), but only received one set of 2010 miles in my SM account.

When I got tired of waiting and finally called HHonors about this the other day, they told me that they had been getting "error messages" from SM, and that this had apparently prevented lots of SM members from getting their 2010 bonus miles from HHonors. When I asked the HHonors agent how I could have gotten one 2010-mile bonus but not the other (identical) one, she could give me no answer other than the scripted response that DL was "working with HHonors to clear this problem up, so please keep checking your SM balance."

Has anyone else here had this problem? Has anyone been able to get the 2010 bonus points transferred outside of the normal process?
