Yes, I meant the ETR 610s. Thanks for the information that they are already in service. Have you heard anything about their reliability, routings and comfort? Are you saying that all the express trains between Switzerland and Italy are now electric multiple units? I certainly remember when riding Cisalpino a couple of years ago, some of the trains were locomotive-hauled, i.e., former SBB (Swiss) compartment and open cars painted in Cisalpino livery, and some were ETR 470s. Sometimes when the ETRs failed on the way to Stuttgart, they were even replaced with SBB coaches. I was on a Milan-Basel ETR 470 last August which failed in Brig, requiring passengers to transfer to internal SBB services.
