just make up a new last name (surname) for priceline and you will be fine, at least for hotels. i do this all the time with htoels.com, etc. then i just show my credit card when i check in. if the clerk happens to care about the name discrepancy on the CC vs the reservation, they may ask for ID but then you are ok. this has happened only once or twice to me. you could always say that is your maiden name or whatever.
