7 year miles rule and advise for low mile redemption

Hi all, first time visiting this forum and noticed there are so many info and tips around...

My family used aeroplan to collect miles for the past few years, we rarely fly.... both my parents decided to move back to china and live there and has asked me to redeem their miles in fear of the 7 year miles expiration(they were telling me they should be reaching the 7 year mark soon)

They have asked me to check with aeroplan to see when their points is going to expire. I was wondering if there is anyway to check on the website? I am aware they show miles expire for 1 year of inactivity. But I can find nothing on the 7 year rule. Can anyone point me where to find it?

Since they have asked me to spend their miles I have been looking into all of the accounts. I see 1 having 91k, another having 42k and I personally have 105k. I noticed the best deal are trans pacific for 115k so I am not using my points... but apart from that is there any other redemption that may worth better then wasting 91k on a 400 dollar item?

Thanks
