I had to ask....

I wrote AA asking if my soon to be defunct life Membership in the TW Ambassadors Club could be exchanged for life elite status. My reasoning? AA did not convert life Ambassadors to life Admirals because "AA does not have this amenity as an option (anymore)." But I figured they do offer life elite status.

I got a personal, yet direct, answer: "No."
