Spreading out on a couch, no, reclining in a chair, yes. But at least the vast majority of AA AC lounges that I have been in tend to be quite noisey. A few like the main AC at ORD are large enough that you might find a quiet area but I would not count on it staying that way.

Awhile ago a heated thread on the Advantange Board discussed what newschannel should be played in the AC. As far as I am concern, they might as well turn on the standby single that stations used to have late at night because as soon as you sit down to watch the tv someone will either start a loud conversation or yelling into their cell.
