Carmello Patti's name comes up once in awhile in this thread and he's pretty well known for basically being a one man operation and running his "winery" out of his garage.

Anyways, I've found that getting some of his wines are pretty difficult in the US (especially if you live in the Midwest like I do) but the Southern Wine Group (https://www.southernwinegroup.com/ ) is currently selling his 2002 Gran Assemblage and 2005 Malbec. Every other time I've looked on their site they've been sold out of his wines.

If you haven't tried any of his wine, I'd highly recommend it. It will cost you a little bit but it's extremely worth it IMO
