As long as I have been travelling, I have seen two exceptions with regards to photography on airplanes.
1- CX: On a TPE-HKG when I was being a little too obvious with my camera, an FA came over to me and gestured to me to stop for the privacy of the other pax. However, he had not forced me to delete the pictures from my camera.
2- TNN (Tainan Domestic Airport, Taiwan): As the domestic airport operations is a part of the military airport in Tainan, announcement are made throughout pushback, taxi and takeoff that photography is STRICTLY prohibited of the airport. It was being patrolled as well, as one FA asked a person three rows ahead of me to erase all pictures present on his camera (a bit harsh). The airline is Transasia Airways and the two letter abbreviation escapes me at the moment.
