I prefer the WGS right across the street as it has a lounge and also because SGS didn't upgrade me to a suite even though I arrived early and specifically requested for one. But they lost their chance to make a first impression. I had 4 nights with WGS last Dec and will have another 5 more this coming Apr.
A lot of people pay for suites at the SGS- however if you email them they can usually extend a pretty good (paid) offer to upgrade and thus confirm the space you want.
