In my recent trips, I found that an empty gate area is lot quieter than lounges. Besides, many lounges do not have couches-they have seats that neither recline nor are comfortable for a nap. If you put your leg on the table, you might annoy others who may like to see your feet.

Go to a quite gate area-find a nice corner or seats that don't have arm rest. In LAX, I even found an unoccupied gate security bench. Some time, you can get a sympathetic gate agent to get you a couple of pillows and blankets. Snore away but make sure that you set your alarm clock.
