We have an out of state cruise agent who we got thru words of mouth. Her quotes are not always the cheapest, but her personal services are incomparable. We have had a few occasions that required her to do some major juggling, including one time we had to switch from a South America cruise to a Transatlantic right at the final payment stage - both we and she were on our individual cruises when that had to be taken care of on a weekend. She did the whole juggling when she got onboard a Princess cruise while we were on a RCCL cruise at the same time.

I have compared her quotes with Vacationtogo.com and hers are comparable and sometimes cheaper.

I have compared her quotes with AA cruises and hers are cheaper - like the total prices including taxes would be the same as other agencies before taxes.

We normally book our cruises less than 6 months before sailing, normally 2 to 3 months before sailing. Therefore the prices we get normally are the "realistic" prices.

We have used her services for our last 6 cruises after the last one we used Cruisecompete.com. Granted, this is an agent for those who are experienced cruisers, i.e. she does not offer a whole lot of advices and hold you hand in finding the right cruise. However since she is volume agent for Princess, Royal Caribbeans and Celebrity, she could give very competitive prices.
