This might be a little off-topic, but a few months back I was in the AA terminal at LAX waiting for a red-eye flight to JFK. I was sitting in a chair facing out of the windows, and a middle-aged Japanese man (or at least had Japanese writing on his belongings) was lying on the floor fast asleep. Suddenly he starts farting like you've never heard in public. You've never seen so many people scurry so fast with luggage in-hand.

I guess uncontrollable flatulence is another possible negative of lounge sleeping
