Did a spot check at Costco yesterday--both bulk Eggos and bulk Nutri-Grain Bars for $6.99, but only the bars had the certs displayed on the box. I've noticed chain stores here putting the Pastry Swirls and other Nutri-Grain snack foods on sale or at closeout--some have the certs, some don't. On failed cereal runs I've seen more of "EET and ERN" than I care to (how does ERN sleep at night with a slot in his stomach?).
The supermarkets still carry the "less-glamourous" cereals with certs like All-Bran and Product 19, but I will NOT spent seven bucks on a box of cereal just to get a cert, even if it does have a drop of RETSYN.
