Yes - The cruise fares were comparable to everywhere else so just booked to get the miles (go figure

). One thing we did which saved more money down the road is we booked the cruise early which allowed us to select a cabin up high (we were 3-4 doors down from the bridge). We did not pay the final payment until it was due and twice throughout the wait we kept watch on the fares. If the fare went down, the fare was reticketed (no fee) and we didn't lose our cabin, etc. Ultimately saved $750 if memory served. (Cruise was on Royal in a balcony room - don't recall the exact fare code though).
