I called the Hhonors 800# yesterday to re-confirm my May 2010 reservations at this hotel and to see if they'd say anything about closing the hotel. The person who answered the phone said they've heard nothing about the hotel closing. When I pushed for more info, I got passed on to customer relations who put me on hold to call the Hilton Hotel Tahiti (supposedly) to check. He got back on the line and said 'they will not confirm nor deny the closing of the hotel.' He told me to call back in a few weeks to check again.

In the meantime, I'm looking into booking another hotel.
