Two years ago, I needed two more stays for gold status. I went to my local Hilton, talked to the mgr., gave her my credit card and booked two successive Friday's for $59. She was aware I was not going to stay. One week later I got a call from the Hilton cops in Dallas. They wanted to just inform me that they were aware of the situation and it was not going to work! ouch
