I have never been upgraded to a suite in a Hyatt without using a voucher. Actually, I was once. It was to thank me for my 40th stay at the Grand Hyatt in Mumbai.

With SPG there is a specific suite that might as well have my name on it at one property and several other properties where I've never seen a non-suite since I hit Plat.
