I always buy upgrades in blocks of 8, so I pay $31.25 apiece. Just went to AA.com to buy them (first time I've done that), and it shows the same price for 8, but single upgrades at $45 each.

When did they raise the price? Didn't it used to be $35.00 (and $25.00 before that) for a single 500-mile cert?
