I get companion vouchers for both my Gold and Platinum DL AMEX cards. Problem is, they renew/expire within 2 months of each other, which makes their usage less effective. For example, I have a trip I'd like to use them for in the Fall, but I need to wait for wait for the Summer until I receive a new voucher that's good for those travel dates.

Has anyone had any luck with AMEX getting their expiration dates changed, either temporarily (for a current voucher), or ongoing for all vouchers? I'm not sure how AMEX would handle this, since I'm pretty sure the voucher is keyed to when your annual fee comes due.
