Leaving the name off of the tag leaves the choice of disclosure up to the tag owner. Don't want your name on the bag? Great, the tag works as-is. If you want your name, address, etc. there's plenty of easy ways to add it to your bag (you could even print it on a label and stick it to the tag).

I, for one, want the choice of having my name printed on the bag - or not.
