Having just flown CA for my first time today, I can honestly say I am not impressed.

FA's never greeted me by name, not that it matters to me, none of the other US carriers do it unless you're up front anyway.

No upgrades, HORRIBLE international transfer desk at PEK.

The seats on their 757's are so close together, I'm 5'5" and I had issues with legroom if I put a few pillows behind me! 32" pitch isn't much good if it puts your knees into the back of the seat in front of you! They also use the extended reach tray tables, which pretty much rest on your belly when you open them to eat.

Lost one of my bags at PEK, with a 1:45 transfer.

No order what so ever to the boarding process, total free for all regardless of what the announcements say.

The FA's were nice, the food was decent, they kept the water flowing...

Overall I would give them a C-/D+
