That's what most people think. I have never heard anyone complain about BA CW seats being more claustrophobic than CX Business seats so I guess travelinmanS is an outlier.
I don't like the CX seats particularly if traveling with someone as you can't see over the tops of the walls. At least on CW you can see out the window, until/unless the window passenger raises the "privacy" screen.
But it also varies by aircraft type. I find CW on the 767s to be quite claustrophobic especially if you get a window seat, as the fuselage's curvature really reduces headroom.
