Indeed. The strange thing is when I first got the e-mail confirmtion of booking I clicked on the upgrade button and it showed a "tick" ("check") in the Exceutive King box, as a NIL cost upgrade followed by the other options but when in my upcoming stays summary on Hilton.com it shows as per my previous post....we'll see what happens...will post the result!
Well, my questions were answered this weekend. Got a King Plus Executive upgrade ^ A very classy hotel - old school for sure but in very nice order and spotless. The open all day/free bar in the Executive Lounge was a nice surprise - even guested in a friend (not staying there) no problem at all / no charge ^ A nice property and lovely staff.
