Why in the world would you want to? DL SkyPiles are awful for redemption, especially internationally. In times past, they were great, but not since the 3-tier award chart arrived.

I have some old NW miles that got involuntarily converted to crappy SkyPiles that I wish I could get rid of for something useful. The high season low miles TATL redemptions I used to get in the pre-Borden days when I was a DL GM, and now ancient history, and one has to give far above low rates for even a shoulder season award ticket. The ''low'' rates themselves, even though it is difficult to get them, and still higher than other airlines.

I wish there was a legal way for individuals to swap miles. I would gladly give 2 SM for 1 AA, BD, or CO mile, or probably 3 to 1 for the BD miles.
