The fact that the first segment is a train trip may (-R- may!) make a difference... very interesting that!

..but if it is treated the same as an initial flight segment then failing to turn up for it will lead to the rest of the itinerary being cancelled in most circumstances...

I have NO idea how well those two companies communicate!!!
