$650 shipped. It is a shell with little inherent insulation, so suitable for any weather, though I expect it would be hot the the summer sun. As a shell you can put any of the Canada Goose lightweight down products into it as a 3-in-1 type arrangement. Practically speaking, I can wear it over most of the winter-wear I already own including a very heavy Marmot down jacket.

The one odd thing about it, for civilian wear, is the plastic ID/Credential pocket on the sleeve. Even though it is made of some amazing high-tech plastic that won't crack in sub-zero weather, it rather detracts from any overall fashion statement it might otherwise make. Perhaps I'll keep my CERT credential in it.

I do lust after the Canada Goose Snow Mantra Parka, but there is literally nowhere I could wear it without suffering heat stroke in just a few minutes.
