You can certainly try. I'd try to have the exact flights you'd like to go on, as well as some alternates before you call in. Good luck.

According to Delta website, I can rebook if my flight was delayed, but if my departure and arrival were changes to an earlier time, but is significantly inconvenient because of flying with a child can you rebook then.
