Perhaps, but not all countries are particularly bothered if their citizens hold another citizenship and passport. However, there is no point in producing two passports unless one needs to, I guess.

Although, in fact, if she is just visiting the UK on a short tourist trip, say, there is nothing to stop her using her Australian passport —.the UK does not require its own citizens to enter the UK on a British passport, but merely requires that the documentation be sufficient for the purpose of the journey. Of course, in most cases it would be quicker for her to enter the UK on her British passport, but that's a different point.
