When I checked out this morning, I asked the front desk agent about suites and platinum upgrades, and I was told there is only one suite in the entire (brand new) hotel. The SPG upgrade for the property is a room on the 5th floor (rooms with nice wooden floors

). So that explains that.
I still think it is a nice hotel. I tried the breakfast buffet this morning. I thought the buffet was good (typical, but seemed "above average" in terms of quality): bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, plus mini potato pancakes, fresh cut and whole fruit, steel cut oatmeal, juices, coffee. Several varieties of breads, pastries and muffins. The fitness room was nice and new, (I liked the personal tv on the treadmill).
I'm at the Four Points Raleigh-Durham Airport now. It also opened in November 2009. Only 10 miles from the other new Four Points. Very similar decor and layout, as you might expect. However, the front desk clerk was GREAT on check-in, you'd think she just graduated from SPG Platinum Member Recognition training!

Still no suite, I didn't even bother to ask this time. I'm guessing it's probably the same story here, maybe one suite? This hotel is also fairly empty tonight.
