Wouldn't this aid Star's presence on US-LHR routes though? Since OW pretty much dominates here, I would think that even though VS doesn't do any European short-haul, it could turn LHR into another connecting "hub" for *A flyers. From there they could take any number of flights to major cities covered by European *A carriers.
