The J seats are far superior on the domestic transcons to the domestic F seats. The service in J is on par with the domestic F service though. But, the legrests and larger pitch make up for everything. I'll take it anytime I can.
Now for the few runs that have 3 class planes serving as 2 class on non-Flagship flights like SFO-ORD & SFO-DFW. The F meal and entertainment service on the 767 is the same as the domestic F, but the seats again blow domestic F out of the water.
Here's another hint that I have to add. If you going to P on a flaghip transcon, try to get a 763 run. You'll get the fold down beds.
