I also looked at the CG Photo jacket and loved it for the exact same reasons you said. I wanted it in red, though, and that was even harder to find than the black version, which I wasn't so interested in. I even called the company but even they couldn't find a retailer who had a red jacket in stock.

I may try again in the future.

For all others who seek a good travel jacket/parka, Cole Haan regularly comes out with really attractive solutions to the problem.

Scottevest promised they'd make a jacket that is slightly longer so it can be worn over a business suit without the suit jacket peeking out on the bottom.
